One of Neuqua Valley’s most inspiring staff members, Tom Schlegel passed away on October 13th, 2006, after fighting a year long battle of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  As a former physical education teacher and assistant football coach, he has impacted the lives of many over the years.  Defined by his faith, love, and character, Schlegel was a humble man always putting others before himself and never taking recognition for anything.  A loving husband, dedicated father, approachable teacher, motivating coach, and loyal friend, Schlegel simply lived life “the way everyone should.”
